Responsibilities
Build and maintain dashboards that segment credit and fraud risk profiles, driving visibility across portfolios
Dive deep into large datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and behavioral drivers impacting portfolio performance and loss provisioning
Support the forecasting and analysis of credit loss provisions through data-backed insights and strategic commentary
Monitor external market trends and macroeconomic indicators to anticipate emerging risks and opportunities
Develop tools and frameworks to enable other teams to run their own data queries and analyses efficiently
Craft clear, compelling data narratives and present findings to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in credit analytics, fraud risk, or related fields (e.g., collections, recoveries, or portfolio management)
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with Looker is a plus
Experience working with large datasets to extract actionable insights
Ability to communicate complex data in clear, strategic terms to non-technical stakeholders
A curious mindset and ability to leverage tools and AI to deeply understand trends
Preferred
Knowledge of the Canadian subprime lending space is a bonus
