Veterans in Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst I-Lab to support clinical information systems, particularly Epic and Clinisys SQ Blood Bank systems. The role involves working with the Baptist Health User community on system evaluation, design, testing, and implementation, as well as providing ongoing support and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

Working with Epic and Clinisys SQ Blood Bank clinical systems

Working with the Baptist Health User community in the evaluation, selection, design/tailoring, testing and implementation of clinical information systems

Providing ongoing support for problem resolution and application modifications including new releases

Working on less complex clinical systems projects and under general supervision on elements of moderate to complex clinical systems project

Taking on call support for the production of the system on a scheduled basis

Required

Clinical laboratory experience

Basic computer/software skills with an aptitude for enhancing those skills in the area of Clinical systems use

Ability to work with minimal direction on assigned projects

Takes on call support for the production of the system on a scheduled basis

Knowledgeable about current trends/practices in healthcare

Basic knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines (Joint Commission, State Health department, etc)

Graduation from a state approved program which prepares enrollees for a professional level clinical role (i.e. nursing, medical technology, rehabilitative therapy, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, clinical dietetics, etc.)

Current state licensure/registration in the respective field if it is a requirement of that field

Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience
