Factoring Business Development Officer
The Agency is a growing and dynamic factoring company specializing in factoring solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. They are seeking an experienced Factoring Business Development Officer responsible for sourcing new opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals that align with the company's risk appetite and funding capabilities.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and maintain new factoring client relationships across diverse industries: (manufacturing, staffing, wholesale, distribution, oil and gas, etc.)
Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects
Work closely with underwriting and operations teams to structure, propose, and close transactions
Execute outbound business development strategies and cultivate referral sources
Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in CRM system
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all communications
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in factoring business development with a consistent track record of high production
Demonstrated ability to work remotely, including strong organizational and communication skills
Strong understanding of the factoring industry, including deal structuring and client onboarding processes
Proven ability to generate leads, develop long-term client relationships, and close deals
Excellent tenure with previous employers; stable career history is a must
Self-starter with a high degree of professionalism and a results-driven mindset
Proficient in CRM tools and remote communication platforms (Zoom, Slack, Teams)
