Responsibilities
Manages survey activities for the performance and work accomplishment of all projects/contracts
Coordinates with all project members, attending/running meetings and assuring that all project documentation is maintained including change orders
Relationship development with clients to share progress, level of effort expended
Executes project set-up including reviewing and complying with contract component checklist
Develop efficiency gains for team and peers, through mentoring, leading department teaching programs and team building
Monitor team utilization and implement procedures to make positive changes
Maintain awareness of budgets and schedules
Prospect for potential new clients in need of Survey services
Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Geomatics or a relatable field
PLS required
8+ years' experience in construction surveying experience (field & office)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Liquid Planner
Expert understanding of scope and level effort
Possess strong problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow through
Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with staff, peers, and clients
