As a Founding Product Engineer, you will own the application layer and collaborate with various teams to ship features that enhance user experience and drive clinical impact.

Responsibilities

Own our application layer, including the user-facing dashboard and internal admin panel, and the APIs, job queuing system, and PostgreSQL database that power them

Collaborate with product, clinicians, MLE, data, and infrastructure engineers to build new product features

Qualification

Required

Experience in maintaining and owning entire application systems

Experience collaborating cross-functionally with other engineering teams and product

Experience building software from 0 to 1

Experience using AI coding tools like Cursor to build high-quality code

Preferred

Background in applied AI companies with strong product traction (not hype-driven firms)

Experience working at early-stage healthtech startups

Familiarity with EHR schemas/standards (FHIR/HL7)

Exposure to AI/ML products in healthcare
