The Parking Garage Maintenance Ambassador will ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the parking garages, performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections of parking garages to identify and address maintenance and repair needs such as lighting, signage, structural issues, and cleanliness
Ensure that the parking facility is clean and free of debris, litter, and graffiti. Clean spills and stains promptly. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in public areas
Monitor and replace light bulbs and ensure that all lighting fixtures are operational. Maintain proper functioning of directional signs and safety warnings
Perform minor painting tasks to touch up walls, columns, and other surfaces as needed. Repair minor damage to walls and structures
During winter months, assist with snow and ice removal to ensure safe conditions for customers and employees
Maintain and repair maintenance equipment and tools. Report any major equipment issues to the supervisor
Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including but not limited to fire alarms, accidents, and power outages. Follow safety protocols and assist customers in case of emergencies
Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities, including work completed, materials used, and equipment serviced
Although not a primary part of this position, there are times this position will be providing enforcement of parking rules and regulations
Interact with customers in a polite and helpful manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a parking garage or similar environment
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks that may require physical effort
Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies
