Responsibilities
Investigate and define architectures for Spatial Audio
Lead development of those architectures/features
Broadly collaborate across Apple to bring them to life
Mentor other engineers on the team
Help build future leaders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar field, and a minimum 8 years of industry experience
Deep knowledge of C/C++ and Design Patterns that scale
Proven focus on Test Drive Development and quality documentation
Experience working in Audio Architectures and common Digital Signal Processing for audio
Understanding of software optimization tools and techniques
Preferred
Experience in the Apple developer ecosystem, including Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode
Proven track record of technical leadership
AudioUnit plugin development experience
Embedded software experience
