Responsibilities

Define and prioritize research questions that unlock business growth and product innovation

Design and lead end-to-end research initiatives spanning generative discovery to evaluate usability testing

Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights to build a holistic understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations

Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to translate research findings into actionable strategies and design decisions

Measure and monitor how product improvements influence user behavior, satisfaction, and sentiment over time

Develop and scale research with best practices, frameworks, and methodological toolkits across the organization

Empower cross-functional teams to conduct high-quality, independent research through mentorship, training, and shared resources

Required

5-8 years of User Research Experience, with experience in a lead role for a large product area

Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience

Proven experience designing and executing research using a variety of methods (e.g., usability testing, interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, diary studies)

Deep understanding of the strengths, limitations, and appropriate applications of different research methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate insights into clear, compelling narratives that influence product strategy and decision-making

Preferred

Experience defining, measuring, and tracking product quality and user experience metrics is a strong plus
