Machine Learning Engineers (Remote, Continental United States)
ICA, Inc. is a rapidly growing company located in the D.C./Metro area, focused on providing innovative solutions to government clients. They are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and implement machine learning models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance AI capabilities.

Responsibilities
Study and transform data science prototypes
Solve complex problems with multilayered data sets, and optimize existing machine learning libraries and frameworks
Design machine learning systems
Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
Run machine learning tests and experiments
Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
Optimize machine learning algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability
Stay updated with the latest machine learning techniques and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them in our context
Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to build efficient data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models
Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, and iterate on them to continuously improve results
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a professional environment
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
At least one year of experience with cloud computing services, particularly AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and SageMaker
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical business applications
Experience with front end application development to support presentation of ML applications
Experience in handling large datasets and developing scalable machine learning solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams
A continuous learning mindset, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI
Experience with version control tools like Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred
Candidates residing in the DMV area preferred
