Faculty Position in Vision Research at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor Rank
The University of California, San Francisco is seeking research faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology to expand its research program. The selected candidate will develop a substantial research program while engaging in education for medical students, residents, and fellows, and will have opportunities to collaborate in graduate programs.

Qualification
Required
PhD, or MD, or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent degree)
at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience
evidence of high quality independent research
Curriculum Vitae - CV must clearly list current and/or pending qualifications (e.g. board eligibility/certification, medical licensure, etc.)

Preferred
Candidates from any field are welcome to apply to study basic and translational aspects of the visual system
Applications from mid and senior level applicants studying stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, genome engineering, neurobiology, genetics, cell and molecular biology, and artificial intelligence are especially encouraged
