Responsibilities
Design of tools and work holding using Solid Edge 3D CAD modeling tools or equivalent
Utilize precision gaging/inspection equipment with an understanding of GD&T principles
Read and understand hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams and engineering drawings
Provide production cost estimates for product improvement programs
Create/modification of production routers for multiple step assembly & test operations
Validation of production processes and equipment in accordance with ISO 9001 and customer specifications
Troubleshooting of complex pneumatic circuits and devices
Effective written and verbal communication with operators, technical and supervisory personnel including outside contractors
Demonstrated good decision making and prioritization skills
Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to guide and train maintenance and shop personnel
Computer skills to generate operator and maintenance instructions and graphics to support production processes
Complete detailed written reports of work completed
