Responsibilities
Conduct complex workplace investigations on employee concerns, claims of harassment, hostile work environment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of confidentiality, etc
Serve as a subject matter expert on Human Resources policies, procedures and programs
Provide support to department heads and employees to resolve employee relations issues
Provide coaching and counseling to department heads in the area of employee training, corrective action/performance improvement, terminations, investigations, and employee complaints/grievances
Perform special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field required
At least two (2) years of Human Resources work experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations required
Knowledge of state and federal employment law
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
Must obtain Sexual Harassment certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially
Ability to travel required
Preferred
Human Resources Professional Certification preferred
