Fleet Analyst (Houston, TX)

Responsibilities
Review, approve, or escalate maintenance requests per internal policies
Coordinate with drivers, fleet partners, and vendors to execute approved repairs
Track and ensure timely completion of all fleet maintenance activities
Support drivers in troubleshooting issues to reduce downtime and improve response times
Promote fleet standardization and use of preferred national accounts
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and cost-saving opportunities
Manage the fleet customer inbox to ensure timely responses, task delegation, and issue resolution
Deliver detailed reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, downtime, total cost of ownership, and other KPIs. Analyze results and provide recommendations
Lead or support initiatives focused on process improvement, cost efficiency, and fleet performance
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align operational goals with fleet strategy
Manage financial tasks including invoice review, reconciliation, payments, budgeting, and forecasting
Ensure compliance with DOT, CMV, DOE regulations and internal fleet policies
Oversee used vehicle acquisition
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Accounting, or other related disciplines is preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a vehicle maintenance or Fleet Analyst environment is required
Minimum 10 years of experience in a fleet analyst role required in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Familiar with the management of vehicle and equipment specifications, maintenance, and fleet maintenance systems
Working knowledge of Commercial Motor Vehicle, Federal and State requirements, and regulations
Strong interpersonal skills and capable of building relationships with internal customers and vendors
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
Able to lead or work effectively in a team and take direction from management
Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on findings
Strong communication (written and oral), presentation and organization skills
Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees and the public
Proficient in Microsoft applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience with SharePoint, Fleet Management and ERP systems
