Responsibilities
Design automatic temperature control systems for bid-spec and design-build projects
Research all equipment to be controlled and determine the correct method for control and integration
Create AutoCad point-to-point control diagrams
Develop sequence of operations to meet project specifications
Ensure the system remains within the estimated project cost
Assemble a bill of materials and equipment data sheets
Generate a submittal and collaborate with the customer to obtain system approval
Create project as-built control drawings and documentation
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls engineering
Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, including DDC, PLC, and BMS platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Willingness to travel as required for project needs
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in the Engineering field is preferred but not required
Experience working with major control manufacturers such as Honeywell, Distech, Johnson Controls, or Trane is a plus
