Responsibilities
Process customer orders received via phone, email, or online platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, order status, and shipping timelines
Prepare and edit customer quotes, ensuring accurate pricing and adherence to company guidelines
Maintain and update customer information in the ERP and CRM databases
Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery, working closely with production control
Review shipping documents for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Maintain customer records and ensure data accuracy in the CRM system
Collaborate with internal teams, including production and shipping, to ensure timely order fulfillment
Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns, escalating as necessary
Generate and compile reports for management, including order tracking, inventory updates, and sales estimates
Maintain organized records of quotes, orders, and customer communications
Reach out to prospective customers and review our product offerings
Identify customer needs and provide product recommendations
Assist in developing and maintaining customer relationships through proactive communication
Travel occasionally to visit customers, attend industry events, or support business needs
Qualification
Required
3+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or related industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred
Preference for candidates with an interest in or experience with the firearm industry
Experience creating customer presentations a plus
