Responsibilities
Maintain and Realize AS 9100 procedures and continuous improvement efforts
Creating and producing reports such as Quick Reports, Datum Base Alignment report, Auto Align, GD&T Analysis, Surface Profile, and Deviation reports using Excel, PDF, and HTML
Generate inspection reports
Perform Romer/ mechanical and visual inspection on product utilizing both engineering data and electronic models
Present product and data packages to Customer source inspectors
Work with Production to support inspection schedules
Any other duties as assigned
Must understand how customer products are impacted in the event of failure
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent in work experience
Adequate years of experience in inspecting machine parts and assemblies using including ROMER Technology & Practices determined by AMRO
Adequate years of experience using inspection hand tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Adequate years experience working with Customer Source Inspectors determined by Karman Space & Defense
Must be detail oriented, extremely organized, must possess excellent communication skills
Must have excellent blue print/ Model interpretation skills
Must have working knowledge of Customer requirements / specifications
Must have working knowledge of Master Cam & VERISURF software
Must have working knowledge of ROMER equipment, Set-up and Probe-tip Calibration
Must have working knowledge of Catia modeling software
Must have direct communication with internal customers
Must be trained of applicable changes & customer requirements
Must know the QMS basic system of reporting, record keeping and follow instructions
