Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems and architecture to support the seamless provision of care for special needs children.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend applications, microservices, and APIs that enable high scalability and performance

Maintain and operate infrastructure in AWS

Implement third-party integrations and external APIs to enhance the platform’s capabilities

Ensure backend systems are secure, well-documented, and thoroughly tested

Be an effective communicator while interacting with technical and non-technical audiences

Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements

Have a collaborative, data-driven, and iterative approach to building products

Estimate product scope and timelines

Jump in to work on various parts of the stack as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Deep understanding and experience with cloud-based services, service design patterns, data structures, data integrations

A collaborative, client-friendly approach to API design

Experience with modern technologies (NodeJS/Typescript (or similar languages), AWS, Terraform, React)

Strong understanding and value for all the layers of a production system including data, internal and third-party integrations, testing, and user-facing clients

Experience building highly scalable and performant backend services strongly preferred

Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment

An understanding of web/mobile uses cases and a willingness to jump into different parts of the stack when needed

Preferred

Experience in healthcare / virtual care preferred, FHIR experience a bonus
