Responsibilities

Lead and manage a portfolio of Science & Technology (S&T) projects, from early concept through construction completion
Design and plan sustainable mechanical systems for lab facilities, commercial buildings, and institutional projects
Act as Engineer of Record, ensuring compliance with building codes, client expectations, and project specifications
Provide technical expertise and communication on MEP-related topics with clients and stakeholders
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and staff management for assigned projects
Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering professional development and technical excellence
Utilize advanced HVAC design principles to optimize building performance and sustainability
Work closely with architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution

Required

15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and HVAC system design
Extensive experience in Science & Technology (S&T) sector projects, including lab design
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineering (PE) license required
Experience working in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES, and MS Office for complex calculations and designs
Strong knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards

Preferred

LEED AP BD+C accreditation and WELL Certification preferred
