Responsibilities
Develop Team Members through coaching and mentoring
Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and be able to work with limited supervision
Interact closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to effectively plan and execute Kanban requirements to support Plant requirements
Coordinates and implements effective material handling techniques to assure material availability while achieving defined Kanban levels
Establish and maintain effective communications with all departments
Assure that materials pulled are in accordance with FIFO methods
Assist with continuous improvement projects as assigned
Assure that 5S activities are conducted daily and necessary communication is in place for the handling of special projects or situations
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment
Ability to work as part of a team and lead
Flexibility in working overtime when needed, and supplying coverage to other shifts
Attention to detail and quality a must
Basic understanding of material flow operations
Understanding of mobile equipment inspection and operations
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
High Experience working with mobile equipment, FIFO, PFEP, and other Lean or continuous improvements concepts and practices are highly desired
