Commercial Project Manager / Project Controller Digital Mobility Customer Services
Siemens is a leading provider of infrastructure, electrification, and transportation solutions in the United States. The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for the commercial and financial management of projects, ensuring successful execution by collaborating with various internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
Lead project setup, including bookings, WBS structure, budgets, and financial tracking aligned with delivery schedules
Manage financial planning, forecasting, controlling, and cash flow analysis in SAP
Drive performance improvement through effective claims and variation management
Monitor financial trends, assess implications, and develop corrective actions
Oversee project administration (invoicing, bookings, procurement budget control)
Partner cross-functionally (Project Management, Legal, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, HR, etc.) to achieve financial targets and improve efficiency
Support bid proposals and ongoing project reviews with robust financial analysis and reporting
Define and report on key performance benchmarks impacting business results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Engineering
2+ years of experience in financial planning, controlling, or accounting, with strong commercial acumen
Experience project-based environments
Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
Strongly demonstrated communication skills and ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization

MBA
MS with exposure to cost accounting
Knowledge and experience with SAP
