Responsibilities

Provide analytical support to Portfolio Managers by monitoring cash, entering trades and assisting with compliance monitoring
Act as operational liaison with Principal Asset Management operations & compliance teams to address issues and ensure operational consistency with firm practices
Provide accurate information to our client for marketing needs
Act as subject matter expert for data analysis and reporting, including risk/return metrics and performance attribution
Provide input on projects to improve reporting systems and processes through automation and optimizing operational support

Required

Bachelor's degree required by December 2025 in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, statistics or mathematics
Advanced use of Excel

Preferred

Previous internship/experience in investments, equities preferred
At least two years of work experience in investments
Experience with derivatives with an options focus
Experience with FactSet, Bloomberg, Charles River
Progress towards CFA Charter
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, adapt to changes in tasks when necessary, and multi-task throughout each day
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, including the ability to tactfully, assertively, and professionally handle difficult situations with clients and brokers
