Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions using GCP, AWS, or Azure
Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Monitor cloud resources, analyze performance metrics, and optimize for cost and efficiency
Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, data encryption, and regulatory compliance
Provide expert-level support for cloud-related issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve application challenges
Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, processes, and procedures
Generate regular reports on performance, usage, and costs
Partner with DevOps, Application Development, and Technology Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend tools and services to enhance operations
Qualification
Required
8+ years in cloud engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud environments
Proficiency in one or more major platforms (GCP preferred), including compute, storage, and networking services
Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Skilled in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques
Solid understanding of cloud security principles including IAM, encryption, and network security
Preferred
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Google Associate Cloud Engineer
