Responsibilities
Lead the analysis and design of complex bridges and transportation structures using industry-standard software
Evaluate and design rehabilitation strategies for existing bridges
Prepare technical specifications, reports, calculations, and plan sets; support clients during construction
Develop engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements
Create and refine design procedures to support efficient, high-quality work across the team
Mentor and guide junior structural engineers and CAD staff
Participate in interdisciplinary reviews to ensure integrated, well-coordinated deliverables
Perform quality-control reviews of structural calculations and drawings
Support or lead the development of proposals and client agreements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
~8+ years of structural engineering experience
Professional Engineering License (PE)
Demonstrated experience designing bridges and transportation structures from concept through final design
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey technical concepts
Advanced proficiency in bridge design software (Open Bridge Designer, STAAD, MDX, MIDAS or similar)
Proven analytical problem-solving abilities and thoughtful engineering judgment
