Responsibilities

Assemble and repair a variety of electronic units using prescribed repair techniques
Identify correct parts, components, wires, and materials needed for assembly and repair
Solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools
Remove suspect and failed components and install new components accurately
Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning
Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives according to safety and operational guidelines
Read and interpret technical data including component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints
Communicate work status to team members and support staff, ensuring seamless workflow
Document clear and concisely and maintain accurate records
Utilize computer skills and office software applications

Required

Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or in the absence of a HS Diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Certification of IPC Class III Solder Exam
Experience with electronic assembly
Experience in the aerospace industry
5-7 years of relevant experience
