Responsibilities

Performing moderate to high complexity laboratory tests that involve multiple steps and techniques

Require the use of professional judgement and technical operation in the respective laboratory section: chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology and immunohematology

Application of the principles, theories, and techniques of clinical laboratory scientists are used to produce consistent, reliable test results that aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients

Responsible for adhering to Redlands Community Hospital policies and procedures, regulations, and professional standards

Clinical Laboratory Scientist licenseMedical Technology degreeLaboratory testing experienceBiological Science degreeFormal training program

Required

Valid California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation

Preferred

One year of experience in laboratory testing

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Medical Technology, or Biological Science

Completion of an approved internship or formal training program in Medical Technology
