Responsibilities

Partners with hiring manager and staffing coordinators to determine staffing needs
Source resumes and job applications, conduct screening interviews of candidates by phone, in teams, or in person, and schedule interviews with the hiring manager
Administer appropriate assessments, check references, make recommendations for hire, and deliver employment offers
Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, job fairs, community network events, online platforms, social media, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates
Builds and maintains a strong candidate pipeline for current and future job openings
Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc
Utilizes Paycom’s applicant tracking system to manage candidates’ progress and activity
Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting process and status
Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure the achievement of staffing goals
Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements)
Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance
Manages application and resume files and retention according to company policy
Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry

Required

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Having a valid state-issued driver's license with a current driving record in good standing is required
Obtain a valid health certificate to meet current funding authority requirements as required
Meet SJCS and the funding authority requirement of criminal background and record checks

Preferred

Associate degree in Business or HR (preferred)
Up to two years of recruiting experience (preferred)
Have experience and knowledge in Paycom, Microsoft Teams, One Drive, and Google Drive
