Responsibilities
Learn and assist with prepress workflow of digital print jobs, including file manipulation, color calibration, and job setup
Support the printing and finishing of digital print jobs using industry-standard equipment, tools and techniques
Help prepare finished products for pickup or delivery and maintain quality standards
Observe and participate in concept development with business area owners for various print materials
Assist with client consultations to understand project requirements and specifications
Learn to select appropriate media and substrates for different printing projects
Gain experience with basic preventative maintenance on print and finishing equipment
Collaborate with the team and support live projects from start to finish, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of print production
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college/university program related to printing technology, graphic design, or related field
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn specialized software
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy carts
Preferred
Previous coursework or experience in the print industry
Familiarity with digital printing equipment and processes
Knowledge of graphic design software
Interest in pursuing a career in print production or related fields
Interest in learning about print production or visual communications
