Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end components using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and related technologies
Build and maintain responsive and high-performing UI across devices and browsers
Implement and optimize front-end frameworks and libraries such as Redux, Material-UI, or similar
Collaborate with backend teams to design, troubleshoot, and integrate APIs effectively
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
Utilize DevOps practices and version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage development and deployment processes
Contribute to performance tuning, UI optimization, and improving user experience across applications
Leverage prior Amex experience to support development and integration with OneData/OneApp components
Qualification
Required
6+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development
Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js
Experience with front-end state management and UI libraries such as Redux, Material-UI, or equivalents
Proven experience with API design, integration, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
At least 1 year of Amex experience with OneData/OneApp components is highly preferred
Preferred
Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Exposure to testing frameworks for front-end applications (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment
