Office of the Chief of CER Intern
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is an independent nonprofit organization focused on funding research for better-informed healthcare decisions. The internship will support the Office of the Chief of CER team, providing opportunities to participate in projects related to funding opportunities and data analysis, while also building communication skills.

Responsibilities
Participate in a project that will develop a comprehensive characterization of responsiveness to topic themes for funded awards including identifying where funding opportunities promote efficiencies and how well funded awards align with specified topic themes and special areas of emphasis (SAEs) to date across past and present topic themes, comparing those against select inputs to summarize progress to funding across topic themes, special areas of emphasis, and identified synergies, highlighting future opportunities for process improvements
Gain exposure to characterizing topic theme synergies and forecasting potential synergy opportunities
Build skills in written and oral communication, presentation development and delivery, and data analysis
Incumbent(s) in this position may be required to perform other duties and special assignments not specifically stated above
Qualification
Required
Ability to categorize information and identify themes to generate a synthesis of complex information
Basic data analysis skills (e.g., running frequencies in Excel)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Pursuing education in a Health-focused program
Eligible to work in the US and located in the US
