Responsibilities

Modeling, drafting, and drawing of fasteners, fixtures, installation or testing equipment

Perform teardowns of target application and/or competitive product. This includes full disassembly, documentation through pictures and text, review of the technologies through discussions with engineers, and creating a formal report

Perform destructive and non-destructive testing, installation, and measurements

Work with sales and marketing to evaluate an idea or concept for possible market acceptance, communicate product function and documentation for sale and use

Coordinate with manufacturing personnel to facilitate sample, trial, and final production product

Purchase and assemble test fixtures, samples, and other assemblies

Actively participate in brainstorming and problem-solving

Undertake research to support the learning of new processes, products, and technologies. Document and share with global team

Required

Working towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering

Some experience with solid modeling, drafting, and FEA software and Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience delivering presentations to small or large groups

Must be able to use testing tools as required

Visual acuity for detailed work

Must be able to work in an air-conditioned/non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment for an 8-hour shift
