PROGRAM BUDGET ANALYST III - OAHU

The State of Hawaii is seeking a Program Budget Analyst III for a temporary full-time position located in Downtown, Oahu. The role involves performing and supervising the preparation, analysis, and presentation of plans and budgets in the State's program structure, alongside evaluating programs and conducting budget analysis.

Responsibilities

Perform and/or supervise the preparation, analysis and presentation of intermediate and long-range plans and budgets in the various program areas of the State's program structure
Perform moderately difficult work in the analysis and evaluation of programs in the State structure in relation to the conduct of budget preparation and analysis
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Legal Authorization to Work: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States
EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One and one-half (1-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional experience which involved as a primary emphasis the performance of technical analytical work in the evaluation of operating programs to determine their effectiveness in achieving desired objectives
Applicants for Program Budget Analyst III must possess Specialized Experience in at least two of the three areas of concentration
Experience in each area of concentration must be for a minimum of six months to be creditable
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Clearance - Federal Criminal History Records Check: In accordance with Federal regulations, persons who are being considered for employment in positions which require unescorted access to secured areas at the harbor must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check
