Responsibilities
Ability to complete resale, refinance, or builder escrow transactions, including preparation of all documents associated with the processing and closing of escrow, conveyance of title, recording of documents, clearing of title requirements and issuance of title insurance
Ability to read and understand title commitments
Ability to resolve title issues (g., corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes and encroachments)
Understands real estate regulations and guidelines
Manages quality control for compliance with the Texas Department of Insurance
Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines
Coordinates the closing between all parties to the escrow
Returns all calls, voicemails, and e-mails in a timely manner
Performs other duties as assigned; and
Maintains cordial relationship with lenders, developers, builders, buyers, and sellers to promote/solicit business
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years as a Licensed Texas Escrow Officer
High school degree or equivalent required

Ability to read and understand title commitments
