The Clinical Laboratory Scientist observes and performs a variety of laboratory tests for use in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
In addition the CLS operates and maintains equipment, performs and evaluates quality control, discusses and reviews patient results and participates in special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Current CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
Bachelor's Degree
Completion of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Program
Able to perform venipuncture
Preferred
Recent experience in a Clinical Laboratory of an acute care facility
