The Regional Continuous Improvement Engineer will drive and facilitate continuous improvement activities across regional sites, working closely with operations to identify improvement opportunities and lead projects that enhance business value.

Responsibilities

Work with operations to identify improvement opportunities and assist organization in prioritization of continuous improvement

Support planning that defines program scope and content

Facilitate/lead/direct improvement projects across multiple sites simultaneously

Promote effective use of contemporary problem-solving tools and industry best practices

Coach and mentor project leaders and managers in change management competencies and strategies

Maintain Continuous Improvement initiatives and tracking results of continuous improvement projects

Train and develop employees in problem solving methods and techniques

Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities, as needed

Required

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent experience without a technical degree)

Experience: 2 or more years related operational excellence experience in a top-notch manufacturing and/or service environment

Overall strong analytical capabilities with relevant experience in financial and general business background

Strong coaching, training and facilitating experience along with history of developing high performance teams

Knowledge: Must be intimately familiar with continuous improvement philosophy, terminology, and tools application

Travel: Willingness to travel to the Regional Sites as necessary to drive activities and ensure continuous improvement at each site – 25 - 50%

Preferred

Certification: Green Belt Six Sigma Belt certification preferred
