Crete Carrier Corporation is a leader in the supply chain industry, and they are seeking an Operations Intern to provide talented individuals with an immersive experience. Interns will receive training and experience in various areas within the Operations Department, including transportation planning and customer service management, while also being exposed to other departments within the company.

Responsibilities

Rotates through our divisions of responsibility to shadow and train in a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

Transportation and Capacity Planning

Procurement

Customer Service Management

Sales

Driver Relations

Contract Negotiations

Additional responsibilities based on departmental need in order to gain experience

One-on-one support with dedicated mentors

Train in DOT regulations to ensure compliance

Gain experience and understanding of general transportation and logistics management principles

Receive and carry out instructions

Maintains regular and predictable attendance

Performs other duties as assigned
