Responsibilities

Determines airworthiness of work performed
Examines aircraft, engines, components and materials and records results of inspections to ensure continued airworthiness through accomplishment of the following duties:
Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual
Interface with suppliers and product line to disposition rejects
Ensure all overhauls, checks and repairs are carried out in accordance with procedures as required in the applicable manuals and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR)
All other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of an FAA Airframe rating is required
3+ years Inspector experience with fixed wing transport aircraft such as Boeing 737, ERJ 175, Airbus, etc
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or four years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing)

Preferred

both FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings is preferred
