Responsibilities
Operators prepare machines for operation, load machines with material, enter data into machine’s computer controls, inspect and monitor machine and adjust different inputs, pressures and speeds to maintain quality
Operators monitor and record product and material types, temperatures, speeds, pressures, quantity counts and quality checking materials and products
Quality checks include preparing product samples, weighing samples, measuring widths and thickness and evaluating visual appearance of products
Machine Operators also perform housekeeping and work area organization duties and any required duties directed by supervisor or management
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
Operator must obtain and maintain a Fork Truck certification
High level of commitment and flexibility
Willingness and ability to work swing shifts
Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment
