Franks Portlock Consulting Limited is a leading asbestos consultancy company specializing in asbestos and environmental testing. They are seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to undertake surveying and analytical works within Domestic and Commercial contracts throughout the North East.

Responsibilities

Carrying out asbestos surveys; management and refurbishment and demolition type surveys

Creating reports

Building and maintaining customer relations

Representing the company well at all times and in interactions with clients

Conducting site walkthroughs and survey plans

Qualification

BOHS P402 certificateAsbestos surveying experienceAir monitoring experienceHealthSafety legislationIT skillsLiteracyNumeracyEffective communicationWork ethic

Required

Hold BOHS P402 certificate or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in asbestos surveying and air monitoring

Valid UK Driving licence

Preferred

Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with contractors

Strong work ethic

Strong IT skills

Conversant with current Asbestos & Health and Safety legislation and guidance

Flexible in approach to working hours

Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team

Competent in literacy and numeracy to construct accurate reports
