Process Technician

Responsibilities

Performs the startup and processing of jobs
Accountable for pulling and setting molds
Verify process parameters for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and maintain equipment to established criteria
Process, troubleshoot and remedy solutions that do not meet specifications, non-conformities, and material issues
Responsible for ensuring that the end of run process clearances have correctly taken place
Robot set up (at certain locations)
Verify machines are operating according to standard cycles, allowable scrap, work instructions and quality plan
Ensure proper housekeeping
Responsible for following all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Plastic injection experienceRJG Master Molder CertificateForklift certificationMath comprehensionEnglish proficiency

Required

High School Diploma/general education degree (GED)
3 years plastic injection process technician experience or RJG Master Molder Certificate
Read and interpret documents, i.e. blueprints, drawings, operating instructions, work orders, and procedural manuals
Math comprehension to add, subtract and multiply and divide whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English
Must be able to wear and properly use the required personal protective equipment
Candidates must be a 'US Person' (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)

Preferred

Forklift and crane experience preferred and/or able to obtain certifications within 30-days
