They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience in operational accounting and finance, contributing to meaningful projects under mentorship.

Responsibilities

Assist the Accounting/Finance team with daily operational activities

Review and update current standard operating procedures

Gain an understanding of ITT’s SOX policies and procedures

Maintain and file documents in accordance with ITT’s retention policy

Support resolution of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) items

Participate in inventory audits and cost analysis

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance undergraduate program (BS), in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher) as a Junior or Senior

Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations

Solid grasp of accrual accounting principles

Familiarity with accounting information systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
