Required

Three (3) years clinical laboratory experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist

Minimum two (2) years of experience in section of specialty

California Medical Technologist license (LIC CLS)

Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis especially in section of responsibility

Knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission)

Excellent communication skill both orally and in writing

Ability to be an effective team member, and work with many publics across all departments

Ability to understand and utilize adult principles of learning

Ability to direct and provide leadership to others
