Responsibilities
Will be part of Oracle System DBaaS Operations team. Responsibilities include:
Day to day operational support, extend System DBA support to Oracle App DBA and Application Team members
Additional responsibilities include perform/monitor patching , backup and recovery, triage operational/database issues, implement change request work orders, support database life cycle(build, upgrade, migrations)
Qualification
Required
Oracle System DBA with 7 to 10 years of experience on Oracle 19c
Good communication skills
Good grasp of Oracle general database features and concepts
Strong in core DBA areas like Backup Recovery, Data guard, RAC, performance monitoring and trouble shooting
Should be able to take ownership and work independently or work as part of large global team as situation demands
Team player who is willing to collaborate and share knowledge
BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
Preferred
Exadata experience
Programming skills (Shell, Pl/SQL, SQL)
