Responsibilities
Inspection preparation Peeling shrink-wrap or stickers from cells
Conduct tests on battery performance (open current voltage measurements)
Shipping Prepare and package batteries for shipment according to company and regulatory guidelines
Maintain quality control procedures and standards for battery production and shipment
Manage documentation related to quality control
Perform visual and physical inspections and measurements of batteries and battery components to detect defects or deviations from specifications
Support the investigation of quality incidents and contribute to root cause analysis
Coordinate with project management to ensure shipping schedule is understood and met
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Ability to lift 40 lbs. from the floor to chest height
Ability to spend long periods of time sitting or standing
Experience using calipers, micrometers and volt meters
Able to interpret visual standards
Experience reading and interpreting engineering standards
Ability to navigate through basic spreadsheets and other computer programs
Citizen or green card holder
Preferred
Battery experience is a plus - no battery experience required
