Data Visualization Society is seeking a Lead Analytics Data Modeler to enhance their enterprise data ecosystem. The role involves leading the planning, design, and delivery of data analytics and reporting solutions, while collaborating with various teams to meet the university's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the planning, design, development, testing, and delivery of accurate, precise, and efficient data models, dashboards, and reports

Provide technical leadership and expertise in translating business needs, defining the technical specifications of work, and creating data models and reporting solutions to meet those needs

Gather requirements, translate business needs to technical specifications, and improve processes

Perform advanced troubleshooting and maintain thorough documentation

Track and make progress on both operational and project related work

Develop, test, validate, and produce data models, data marts, standardized reporting and dashboard products

Develop and document procedures and workflows to expand and modernize the BI and analytics capabilities

Work closely with the data engineering team to implement data warehouse and reporting solutions

Help advance the analytics practice using data science skills to develop novel insights

Exhibit advanced skills in programming, statistical analyses, data modeling, data cleaning and preparation, and working with databases and source systems

Communicate effectively between technical and non-technical audiences
