Responsibilities
Work on a variety of water resources & wet utilities projects; this includes municipal engineering for Pennsylvania municipalities (including subdivision & land development reviews, road rehabilitation, stormwater management / MS4, capital improvements, grant writing, and attendance at public meetings)
Serve as our Engineer of Record on design/construction activities for plants and/or pipeline projects
Preparation of engineering reports
Work on project design and permitting
Coordinate master planning-related tasks
Perform (outdoor) construction inspection work, when needed
Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering)
4+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with infrastructure / utility projects
Preferred
PE is a plus!
Experience working with water resources (such as stream and waterway restoration) is a plus!
Experience working on infrastructure / utility projects, especially wet utilities
Experience working on design and permitting activities
Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, GIS, analytical programs, etc.); experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS / ArcInfo is preferred
Experience with H&H tools (e.g.: InfoSWWM, HydroCAD, OpenFlows WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, & SewerGEMS) is a plus!
Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude
Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); technical writing skills are strongly preferred!
