QA Environmental Lab Technician

Responsibilities

Responsible for in-house vibration, mechanical shock, temperature cycle, temperature shock, humidity, HALT/HASS and salt-fog testing IAW Mil-Std-810 and Mil-Std-202
Responsible for coordinating all outside environmental testing of product at other testing facilities
Generate and maintain quality records resulting from testing
Generate cost estimates of testing as part of internal cost workups
Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly condition
Generate and maintain internal QA procedures and other duties as assigned
Regularly lifting and /or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Working in a work environment where the noise level is usually moderate
Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Required

Experience in a related field of study
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to be in a work environment with a noise level that is usually moderate
Working knowledge of computers
Must be able to read drawings and schematics
Must be able to work in both a team environment and independently
This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a 'U.S. Person' as defined under ITAR and EAR

Preferred

Experience in a lab environment is preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
