Henrico Doctors' Hospital is part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services in the nation. They are seeking a Pharmacy Intern PRN to assist hospital staff pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for both inpatient and outpatient care.

Responsibilities
Assist hospital staff pharmacists in the preparation and dispensation of medications
Receive and fulfil medication orders from hospital staff for patients undergoing inpatient and outpatient care
Set up, package and label medication doses
Fill and dispense routine orders for patient care areas
Refill and maintain inventory and routine maintenance of automated dispensing machines
Demonstrate competency in parenteral admixture dose calculations and preparation, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy
Licensed Pharmacy Intern through the Virginia Board of Health Professions
Preferred
Previous inpatient pharmacy experience
