Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of software solutions for mail presorting applications using C++, .NET, WPF, and C
Maintain and grow knowledge of the USPS Regulations regarding mailing rules
Understand the needs of the customers and how to leverage the software to perform as needed
A good understanding of PAVE, Mail.Dat, Rate Classifications and other industry tools or processes is a definite plus
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope
Optimize performance and scalability of existing software solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mail presorting algorithms and functionality
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on mail presorting applications
Proficiency in C++, .NET, WPF, and C programming languages
Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
A good understanding of PAVE, Mail.Dat, Rate Classifications and other industry tools or processes is a definite plus
