Responsibilities
Contribute to providing services and products with Zero Defects Ongoing
Problem solve field issues and resolve claims
Facilitate communications with builders during the engineering stage of projects
Perform business audit to ensure accuracy of order entry and fully understand scope of work
Manage and maintain backlog order management data
Facilitate kick-off and hand-off meetings
Establish and monitor milestone dates and communicate schedule to builders
Manage change orders
Manage supplier items
Qualification
Required
2 year Associate or Technical degree OR 2 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
4 years of relevant work experience
Competent in Order Management System applications
Thorough product, document and process knowledge
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills
Good negotiating skills
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with builders
Organizational agility
Ability to influence others
Active listener
Action oriented
Proactive approach to managing projects and takes ownership of his/her projects
Sound risk management practices
Competence with Microsoft Office products
Able to read and interpret Architectural/Structural drawings and specifications
Able to effectively manage projects to provide projections for shipped tons, dollars and margin
Able to effectively manage key milestones
Able to effectively manage Change Orders and margin enhancement
Competent in problem solving
Competent in conflict resolution
Preferred
Bachelor degree in a related field
4+ years of relevant work experience
2+ years of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) experience
