Responsibilities

Develop and lead tailored public and media relations campaigns for clients across a range of industries and markets (technology, life sciences, energy, and more) - locally, nationally, and globally

Identify strategic media opportunities and proactively pitch compelling stories that resonate with target audiences

Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and producers across key media verticals

Plan and execute press tours, briefings, and targeted media outreach that align with client goals

Monitor and analyze media coverage, offering actionable insights to optimize campaign effectiveness

Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging news cycles to inform timely media engagement

Provide meaningful contributions during client and internal meetings, ensuring strategic alignment and execution

Collaborate closely with leadership to deliver high-touch service and exceed client expectations

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field

At least 2+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role within an agency environment

Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful client campaigns

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to craft compelling stories and communicate effectively with clients, media, and team members

Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple client campaigns with poise and professionalism

Proficiency in PR tools (i.e. Muck Rack, Cision)
